INDIVIDUAL PRAYER
1. Schedule a set a time to pray everyday
2. Determine a specific place to pray everyday
3. Create a growing list of things to pray for
4. Find specific Scriptures to pray along with
5. Ask God to teach you how to pray and to lead you in your prayer times
6. Be easy on yourself, like any other habit or muscle it takes time to build
7. Be patient, you will get some "spiritual muscle memory" and grow more and more confident as you pray

FASTING INFORMATION
The goal of fasting is to draw nearer to God. Biblical fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose. It hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. It also enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God and prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives. Your personal fast should present a level of challenge, but it is very important to know your body, your options, and, most importantly, to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do. There are different types of fasts that you can embark on... such as:

Daniel Fast

Liquid Fast
No solid food is consumed, and instead involves the intake of water, smoothies, juices, tea and coffee.

Water Fast
A water fast is eating no foods and drinking no liquids except water for a period of time.

Time Specific Fasting (Intermittent Fasting)
Only fasting for a particular time, i.e., 6am – 3pm, 6am – 6pm or some other time

Specific Food or Activity Fast (Soul Fast)
This fast is a great option if you do not have much experience fasting food, have health issues that prevent you from fasting food, or if you wish to refocus certain areas of your life that are out of balance. For example, you might choose to stop using social media or watching television for the duration of the fast and then carefully bring that element back into your life in healthy doses at the conclusion of the fast.
