Pastors of Love Alive Church
God has given us a love for people and a passion to see lives transformed. We have all been created for a purpose and we know that our purpose is to Co-Pastor a life-giving church. In fulfilling this calling, God has led us to embark on the journey of our lives. Throughout our many years in ministry, we have served together in many ways and we have seen those who have been hurt, abused forgotten, ignored and disappointed turn their backs on God because they didn’t experience or were not exposed to His love. We are more excited than ever before because we know that our ministry experiences have all been leading up to this moment.. the moment where we have the opportunity to share that the Amazing Love of God is indeed Alive!
Our Story
Our story is simple. We are passionately in love with Jesus and His love has caused us to be radical in our love for His people. Our goal is to lead people so that they have an opportunity to experience this same love.
In January of 2014, we began to experience a stirring in our hearts as God revealed to us that we were being called into new territory. As we sought the heart of the Father, we began to see that He was calling us to pursue the God sized vision of planting a life-giving
church in Orange Park, Florida. We prayed fervently about what God had placed in our hearts and in May 2014, we began meeting with our pastors, Bishop George & Pastor April Davis, to share this new development with them. After much prayer, our pastors gave us their blessing to obey God in planting a church.
Not wanting to do ministry alone we immediately started a process to connect with the Association of Related Churches (ARC), a church planting organization with a passion to connect with couples and resource them to launch the church God has placed in their hearts to be strong and successful. On April 6, 2016, we were honored to receive the news that ARC wanted to help us launch Love Alive Church as an ARC church.
In June 2016, we started having Interest Meetings to invite family, friends and the community to assist us in launching this new life giving church of which 58 of them determined they would help us to obey the great call from God. On Opening Day, Sunday, February 19, 2017, we opened the doors to Love Alive Church and 301 people came to see the amazing work that God is doing in Orange Park, Florida.
We realize now more than ever that this is quite an amazing adventure of faith and that walking by faith is not always easy, but we are confident that we are doing exactly what God has called us to do. We are pastoring a church that will reach many with the love of Jesus Christ.
Our hearts desire is to serve people through the vehicle of Love Alive Church and to offer them a real and powerful experience with God’s Amazing Love. We are so glad that you are here…

Meet our Children:
Jamal, (not shown) our loving son, who departed us much too soon November 2009 at just 25 years old.
Bridgett (32), is a celebrity hairstylist living in Atlanta, GA and finalizing her coursework for her Bachelor's Degree with the University of Florida.
Joshua Davis (22), is a college basketball player with major aspirations of going into the NBA and becoming a practicing Attorney.
Jonathan Davis (17), is a Senior at Oakleaf Senior High School, an avid gamer and is currently shuffling through more than 30 colleges or universities that have contacted him about him coming to their school... many of them with full scholarships in tow.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.

We believe all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation, which has been provided for all men through Jesus Christ.

We believe the infilling of the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation; and it is the will of God that all be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.

We believe healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
